possessive horror media documentary

In groups we were required to make a documentary on our chosen genre, this had to show our understanding and knowledge of the genre were looking into for our opening.
In our group we had to find different information on the chosen genre -possessive horror, we found four different film openings and analysed them finding ideas for our opening, we each had a turn at editing and putting parts of the blog together. In our documentary we included a definition of what a possessive horror is, this shows how our horror genre is different to other types of horror movies, we created a montage of images also to show the elements of possessive horror, this gave us ideas of what we needed to put into our opening.
we gave a list of the codes and conventions of a possessive horror- we researched and found out what elements made a possessive horror unique so we could get an idea of what we needed to include in ours,we added different possessive horror opening with analysis - we looked 4 possessive horror openings so we can get an understanding of what happens in possessive horror openings, in order t know what to make the opening to the best of our knowledge and ability.-
An interview- we asked a friend some questions for our audience research in order for us to know what people expect from a possessive horror, so we can make ours meet the needs of our target audience.
What we found from our audience research- we came up with a conclusion of what we found from our audience research to show that we have taken on the board responses that were given.i think that making the documentary has helped s to do the opening because it has told us hat a possessive horror is required to have and how people feel about certain elements and aspects, i believe the documentary has been a success as we have learnt a lot about how horrors work and what they require, i think it was a good first attempt at making a documentary but feel we could have worked as a group better
